1944 - "It's Been a Decade"
-----------------------------

Logan wasn't really sure if she was serious or just playing with him but this was the type of game he loved to play. "I don't know. I mean, more than anything it really wounded my pride. When you see something like a future photograph of yourself with a lovely lady like yourself, sometimes you just get carried away with what fate might have in store."

She let the towel go and slipped down into his lap and kissed him as she straddled him. "You mean, get carried away like this?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him again.

He wrapped his arms around her as he slipped his tongue into her mouth. He wasn't sure what had changed her mind but he wasn't about to question it. When the kiss broke, he moved to her neck and trailed them down her chest until he reached her right breast.

"It's been a decade…" she said as he started with her breast and then to her nipple. She leaned back against the edge of the table arching her back as she closed her eyes. "Now...now I don't need to worry about pollution…or accidents…" her breath hitched as she grabbed the edge of the table.

Logan traded breasts and elicited another gasp. He then moved his hands underneath her and lifted back up onto the table. He shucked his shirt and kissed her. He'd never really thought about the kind of things she'd have to worry about being stuck 400 years in the past but now wasn't really the time for him to dwell on that. Instead, he interlaced his fingers with hers and continued to kiss her as he leaned her back.

The difference between the heat her body was emitting and the coolness of the metallic table sent shivers down her body. Goosebumps rose on her skin as he trailed kisses down her chest. As he got to her belly button, her hands brought him back up to her pulling him up and over her. Her legs wrapped around his hips as she kissed him deeply, fervently trying to remove all excess space between them. Her hands went down to his hips; her fingers slipping between the fabric of the underwear and his skin moving them down off his hips.

Repositioning himself and Marsol at the edge of the table, Logan kissed her one more time before they became entwined. Knowing she was still pretty weak from her ordeal in the war, he put his hand behind her neck to help support her as he moved. He met the passionate look of yearning in her eyes with a pure, unadulterated desire.

A couple minutes in, he decided they needed a more comfortable venue. He hoisted her and allowed her arms to wrap around his neck. The two locked lips as he carried her through the back exit of the mess to one of the crew bunks at the rear of the runabout. Passing through the bunk doorway, Marsol grabbed hold and forced him to spin 180 degrees so that he backed through and landed on the bed face up.

She leaned down, kissing him as her hair came cascading down. Leaning up, she twisted her long hair into a knot getting it out of her face. Their hips met as she did and then she leaned back down again kissing him deeply.

With Jéanne on top, Logan let her take control and placed his hands on her hips. He felt the decade of self control and repressed tension unleash on him all at once. It was intense and passionate and pushed him near the edge.

As she felt the pressure building, she closed her eyes and shifted her pace to be controlled and methodical. The one thing about not feeling a man in such a long time, this was what she had missed the most: the sensations of closeness. She trailed kisses down his jaw and to his collar bone before nestling her head right next to his ear as their pace got quicker. She moaned lightly as she climaxed feeling the pins and needles throughout her body.

Logan followed suit and climax with her almost simultaneously. He grabbed the hair behind her head and pressed her against him as his hand slid up her back. "That was… unexpected…" he said honestly between breaths. He kissed her cheek.

She took a moment as she relaxed her body on top of his before she turned her head to look at him. It had been far too long since she had itched the great itch. "Unexpected how?" she asked.

He brushed her hair back out of her face and turned to her. "I just got the idea you weren't interested." He knew of women who would feign offense at his advances as a game. He wasn't really into that. This was definitely different though as she seemed to change her attitude on a dime.

A smirk crossed her lips as she untwined from him and nestled in his arms. "You kissed me when I didn't even know your name or if it was all a dream or not. You then left me in the woods saying because a photo, you couldn't take me with you. I was heartbroken and realized that at that moment, indeed I was dreaming. You said you would be back. Honestly, I didn't believe you; I thought I was going to end up stuck in the past til I died." She then propped herself up on her elbow and looked into his eyes as she caressed his cheek with her thumb. "You did come back: your actions spoke more volumes than your words," she said smiling.

"To be fair, the kiss was to keep you from hyperventilating and it did work," he reminded her with a chuckle. "I suppose if I were in your shoes, I might have slapped me too. Not the first time that's happened but the first time it's ended here."

“Kind of rude to kiss someone you don’t know without warning,” she mentioned about the hyperventilating. “Well deserved slap for reneging by telling that same someone that after you built all their hopes and dreams of a rescue up, a four hundred year photograph hadn’t happened yet so everything dashed.” As much as she wanted to comment about being in her shoes, she didn’t want to ruin the nice moment they had, that and she was tired. After yawning, she leaned forward and kissed him gently on the lips. “Someday, maybe I’ll tell you about those shoes. Thanks for scratching a ten year itch.”

He understood where she was coming from but it still felt necessary seeing as how everything went down. That being said, it was hindsight now, so he didn't feel the need to dwell. "I was happy to oblige," he smiled. He figured the next few months were going to be difficult for her, so he was in no rush to take her back just yet. "You look like you could use some rest. Are you comfortable?" It was code to ask if she wanted him to vacant the bed or not so she could sleep.

“Quite... That is if you are. It’s been four years since a warm body shared a bed with me. He was a complete gentleman even if he had been shot in the leg,” she smiled as she snuggled down into the nook of his arm.

"Perfect gentleman, huh? Sleeping next to a gorgeous woman like you and not making a move? Sounds like a really stupid man to me," he joked.

She smirked as she started dozing off. “Well… he only waited like twelve hours before making a move, and then solidified it a day later.” She yawned again. “Me on the other hand… I had four years to think about it.”

"Sounds about right timewise," he teased her and laughed. "I hope you kicked him to the curb and didn't fall for all that silly bravado."

Nearly asleep she murmured, "maybe."
