Personality & Traits

General Overview Logan is a chameleon. An accomplished liar and con man, he can seamlessly blend into half a dozen different cultures without any issue. He has just as many stories about his past before the USS Hawking. He tends not to get attached to anyone and has few people he would call friends. He's a sweet talking and ladies man. His list of lovers could crew a small science vessel. While he concocts any number of stories to hold a woman's interest, he is never deceitful about his intentions don't extend much beyond a handful of nights.

At times he is silly, others kind, other times harsh and still others, he is stern and serious. His personality blends with the occasion and few know what who the "real" Logan is.

The lone exception is his daughter Amanda with whom he has shared everything, including the truth about his past. He is a loving and devoted father to this atypical girl. In turn, she is fiercely devoted to him.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: Logan is fluent in Klingon, Romulan and Cardassian. He is an accomplished liar and skilled intelligence agent. Over the years he has had several surgeries to alter his appearance.

Weaknesses: Logan does not share easily and often lies by default, making any kind of real relationship nearly impossible. For this reason, he is a generally lonely man.
Hobbies & Interests Logan loves sports such as Baseball and Springball, though he rarely gets to play.

His main interest is seducing young women and keeping his skills as an agent and a lover sharp.

Personal History Born in 2351 to mining colonists on Kinessa Prime, Logan had a very uneventful childhood. He mainly helped in the family business when he was old enough and planned to take over when his parents retired.

All that changed when a Breen raiding party destroyed the entire colony. At first, there was believed to have been no survivors. Later, Logan was confirmed to have been the only one to escape the colony's destruction. He was taken back to earth where he enrolled in Starfleet Academy looking for a new start.

He excelled at subjects that leant to work in intelligence. Infiltration, seduction, and misdirection were his strongest skills and he was quickly scooped up by Starfleet Intelligence. He was deployed on several deep cover missions around the galaxy, including Qo'noS, Romulas, Cardassia, and Bajor, the latter two during the final stages of the Dominion War.

In 2374, he was given a deep cover assignment on Romulas to infiltration the inner circle of a troublesome senator by the name of Llhran D'varo. Intelligence believed D'varo was the leading voice in the Romulans returning to the pre-war relations with the Federation. Logan was to obtain incriminating evidence against him that could be used to either silence or discredit him. Logan got close to the senator by seducing the senator's daughter, Rhiana. The two began a romantic relationship that lasted nearly a year before Logan obtained the information he needed and was extracted.

For the next eleven years, Logan continued his work as a top intelligence agent in the field with a dozen successful high risk, high reward missions across the Milky Way. The thirteenth was when that streak ended. In 2385, Logan was sent to Prana III to make contact with what he thought was a Dominion defector who claimed she had vital intelligence about renewed hostilities with the Federation. This turned out to be a trap set by the Orion syndicate. Most of the operation and the reason for the deception is classified. What little is known is that the Logan was wounded several times, including once in the leg. A Federation Marine team was able to arrive to time to save his life and extract him but Logan was forced to retire from field work due to his injuries.

Logan spent the next three years behind a desk at Starfleet Intelligence headquarters directing field operations. It was here that he got the news of the Romulan star going nova in 2387. He was assigned to leading the group that sorted through the intelligence of that event. Less than two months into it, one of his agents brought him surprising news. One of the refugees was a half human, half romulan girl named D'Ral D'varo. She was the daughter of Rhiana and DNA proved she was Logan's daughter as well.

Logan immediately left to find her. When the two met, it was difficult at first. D'Ral explained her entire family had been ostracized because her mother had been fooled by a Federation operative. This mistake was impossible to hide due to D'Ral heritage. Rhiana mistreated her daughter and caused D'Ral to run away when she was thirteen. It was this act that saved her life as she was outside the Romulan system when the star went nova.

As the two became acquainted, D'Ral developed a deep respect of her father based on his impressive record as an intelligence agent. It was work that any Romulan would envy. As a result, the two grew closer. D'Ral allowed her father to pick her a new human name, Amanda, and underwent surgery to hide her Romulan features. Despite this, she was still uneasy about living on earth. As a compromise, Logan left Starfleet Intelligence for a commission on the USS Hawking as Chief Security Officer, taking Amanda with him.

He served in that post until 2390 when he was offered the Executive Officer position on the Andromeda.
