Welcome Everyone!
The official kickoff is in the works! Once I send out the first post getting the Andromeda to the station, Preludes is open for play.
The website is in a state of flux so if you find any issues either send a PM or hit me up on Google Hangouts to get it fixed.
If you want any of your friends to come and join, now is the time!
This is also the time to finish up and polish off your bios to get them ready. Some of us have prelude posts establishing connections and character development ready to go now.
There are a couple different missions that are playable right now:
OOC: Use this as a Discussion List
Sandbox: This is where you can send stuff that you wouldn't have been able to write or put anywhere else. You can send anything you want, doesn't need to be in this universe.
Brainstorming: If you want help brainstorming an idea, this would be the place.
Preludes: This is our current 'mission'. Once the kick off post is sent, you can post anything you want to leading up to the departure of the Andromeda to the Dark Sector.
When you go to write a new post, just make sure to select the right mission.
We'll officially kick us off to the Dark Sector at the end of the month.
Some Notes:
1. Preludes: You are only obligated to send in one post showing your character arriving at the Andromeda. You can either check in with the CO (playable by Andy, Vince or I), or with the XO (Vince). If you have loads of character development (some of us are wordy), this is the place to send it.
2. Formats: You can either use the Nova interface to do joint posts (hit save instead of post) or whatever format you want, final posts get posted. Nova runs off of a couple different website codes. I personally stick to html codes.
3. Posting Requirements: As stated in the rules, 300 words minimum per player, once every other week. These requirements are for official minimums and shore leave is once a month.
4.Fun: We are here to have fun. If something is bugging you, let us know. A lot of stuff is going to fall into the gray area.
5.Creativity: If there is a particular mission that you specifically want to play out, let Vince or I know and we will see what we can do to fit it in the docket.
