| Physical Description | Aurelius has a strong body frame for strength and endurance. His limbs are artificial from prior to the height of the Ekahl civil war when the South embraced extensive cybernetic modification. He stands tall weight a weight hidden by the amount of cybernetic enhancement he has. Depending upon the situation, he is able to change the appearance of his limbs. Unpowered, they are shiny, metallic black, or flesh tone as required. He keeps his hair trimmed fairly neat. He has a couple of spots on his face that look like holes from the modifications that he had done. The facial hair is scruffy, but he normally doesn’t have to shave it as it is fairly slow to grow because of the nano machine control. |

| Personal History | Born and raised in the Military Sector of the Southern Province of Ekahl, Aurelius grew up earmarked for the service. Prior to the cold war, and the height of the Ekahl civil war, he served in the service to the people as more law enforcement. Tensions continued to rise over the years starting in 2313. As the tensions grew higher, his responsibilities and modifications continued to grow in proportion. Since being raised in the Military Sector by the village mentality, he learned how to be a cohesive member of a team from a very young age. As the South viewed implants as self manageable allowing for any and all modification as well as the development of artificial intelligence. Civil unrest between the tensions of the North and South finally reached the tipping point to all out war when the South wanted to unshackle their AIs. Aurelius was pulled from law enforcement back into military service as soon as the tensions started rising. He served where he was told to go to the front lines of war. When the bombs started to fall as he was at the southern border of the Northern territory, he managed to escape the direct assault even though he had a front row seat to the show. The survivors banded together to leave the decimated Ekahl behind as they were no longer the North and South, they were the Ekahl. They left their safety net of their solar system for another that they had found was suitable for their unique needs. Only taking what they needed, most of the people left everything that reminded them of the war. Shortly after the start of their journey to their new home, the Jem’Hadar attacked. They had been naive enough to not have weapons on their vessels. Aurelius found himself leading the defense aboard his ship, and offense when they would assault the Jem’Hadar ships. One last vessel remained by the time the Federation found them in 2376 with less than 2000 people left. Most of the Ekahl were relocated to a nondescript small colony moon in one of the more distant areas of Federation space. This allowed them their peace and quiet away from everyone else as most of them had turned scared and xenophobic. Here Aurelius gave back to his community with his heavy modifications and helped build their colony up from the ground. Within the first two months, two Ekahl left their fold and joined Starfleet. After building the colony, he decided that the colony wasn’t enough and wanted to join himself. When he first started, two Section 31 officers tried to convince him to join their ranks when all he wanted to do was to be a soldier in the marines. If it hadn’t been for a timely intervention of Starfleet officers, they would still be picking up the pieces of the two Section 31 officers. Through the years in the Starfleet marines, he rose through the ranks until he was given his own unit. Here he continued growing and excelling until he settled into his current position as a Marine Commanding Officer. He kept his unit when they were assigned to the USS Andromeda |
